What is a Work Placement?

As a work placement, you get to experience working within a fast-growing, innovative organisation whilst enriching your CV.

Work placement opportunities can last from 1-week to 1-year. Our successful applicants will assist our surveyors, planners, Geomatics specialists, Archaeologists, and Ecologists working on various utilities and infrastructure projects across the UK.

To apply for a work placement, you will need to be self-assured, have good communication skills, attention to detail and willingness to embrace new systems. Above all, you will have the drive to advance your career and be eager to leave a lasting mark in your team.

Based on your experience during your time with us, you may be offered a graduate position and be joining the many former work experience and placement students who have returned to Dalcour Maclaren for a permanent role at the end of their studies.

Meet Joe Pailin
