The Role

As Telecoms Surveyor you will use a variety of skills including desktop and field-based surveys, negotiating agreements with landlords, reading key terms of existing lease agreements, updating template reports and working with in-house planning teams who’ll submit the planning applications.

An exciting opportunity where a blend of office-based work and onsite surveys will be required, providing a wide range of experience and skills being developed to support your development and career aspirations. You will benefit from on-job training and our mentoring programme from our existing team of experienced surveyors.

What will I be doing?

  • Undertake desktop surveys and site visits with experienced surveyors until you feel comfortable completing these on your own

  • Understand and determine existing lease terms to establish existing lease rights (full training will be provided)

  • Review and provide comments on-site drawings before planning applications are submitted by Dalcour Maclaren’s planning department

  • Complete entry-level market research to support experienced colleagues preparation of valuations

  • Support senior colleagues with the preparation of terms for new agreements

You will be perfect for this role if you…

  • Have a Full UK Driving Licence

  • Are proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)

  • Have good communication skills

  • A good approach to team working

  • Have a willingness to apply existing sales and negotiation skills in a new working environment
