Dalcour Maclaren are recruiting a Land Referencing Manager in our Geomatics division.

Purpose


This is a senior role within the Geomatics team, to lead the land referencing process, manage data, quality assure Books of Reference production and associated documentation for internal and external clients in support of large scale, fast paced projects. You will be an expert Land Referencer, take ownership of own and team’s work, and specialise in due diligence tasks associated with the DCO and CPO submissions, with proven examples of successful deployment to improve business processes and a real drive to create positive change.


Responsibilities and Requirements

  • Working in line with team objectives and business plan, lead in producing consistently high quality, error free land and property ownership data outputs and reports for internal and external clients in support of wide ranging and fast paced DCO, CPO and TWAO projects, on time and within budget to maintain company standards.

  • Fully understand all client requirements to provide guidance to junior team members and quality assure deliverables to ensure standards are met at all times.

  • Understand industry-wide and client-specific DCO and CPO standards and be able to apply and document as required.

  • Lead in identifying key data sources, engaging with suppliers to license, obtain and set up the required environment and process to gain best value of them.

  • Take ownership of the following elements and establish how this can be utilised for best company benefit through project efficiency and or additional service offerings to clients;

  • CONNECT, Land and property data, HML title interrogation, Books of Reference, Land Plans, Notices and Schedules and Site visits and site notice erections

  • Manage projects and requests, ensuring requirements and objectives are met, building positive relationships and taking ownership of the standard of work.

  • Develop and maintain own knowledge and skills via company run and wider training and CPD and, if working towards professional qualification, take responsibility for own learning and progress, scheduling progress review meetings and maintaining an up to date record of activities.

  • Carry out work in compliance with relevant legal, statutory, contractual and organisational requirements and policies.

  • Undertake team and general business development, using your growing knowledge and skills to suggest ideas for improvement, assist in looking at new ways of working and helping to cross-sell wider company services.

  • Support the development of more junior members of staff by line managing, providing feedback and conducting their progress reviews.

  • Play a key role in the team by supporting, communicating and helping all other team members.
