What to expect

Land referencing is the practice of identifying and classifying persons and organisations holding legal interests and rights over land which is subject to development and regeneration across the UK and Ireland.

It involves engaging with communities and researching data sources to determine relationships between people and places to create and maintain accurate records of land tenure in support of gaining consent over land for temporary or permanent objectives.

Land Referencers play a key and wide-ranging role in exciting, high-profile projects by acting as a consistent point of contact between affected parties, communities, and organisational delivery teams to successfully submit Development Consent Order (DCO) and Compulsory Purchase Order (CPOs) Books of Reference on behalf of our clients.
